Dark Wet Cold
Its getting more difficult to get interesting images given the dark wet cold weather and I’m not sure how much longer I’ll be able to keep this up before my camera freezes up. So far the temperature has been staying close enough to zero that it’s not a problem, but January is just around the corner and that’s when it usually gets colder.
Plus I need to get out at different times and into different areas. In particular I want to explore the downtown core of canyon like tall buildings to see how that looks. This is the same problem I faced with the Light Signature work – toward the end it was getting mundane because I was shooting while riding the same route so the images were repeating. I need varied scenery to open up the possibilities.
Here is the first layered test image of Blue Horizon. I think it’s growing on me. I like it’s glassy nature even if the layer cut outs aren’t quite what I had envisioned. It has potential.
