Interesting and Unexpected
I’m beginning to see some interesting and unexpected results from shooting this series. It seems I’m willing to let go of some preconceptions about how I wanted this to look and how I was going to execute it. Ironic, considering how tightly I hold on to things. You have to pry my fingers off one at a time to get me to relinquish control – sometimes at least.
I’m speculating – but it seems an unexpected corollary of aging and less patience with BS is more likely to accept a different outcome. Whatever it is, this time of year the light is highly variable, especially at the beginning and end of day when I’m shooting – which means I have to be flexible. This in turn is yielding some cool images.
